Create and manage API keys
Creating a key
Open Settings, then Integrations, and choose Add new key. Give it a name so you remember what it is for later.
Choosing permissions
Read-only is the recommended default, and covers what most AI assistants need. Choose Custom if a key needs to create or edit data instead.
Rotating and revoking
Rotating issues a new key with the same name and permissions and immediately retires the old one. Copy the new key when it is shown because it is only displayed once. Revoking retires a key right away and does not create a replacement.
